The new ‘Roam Like Home’ law, which bans mobile phone providers from charging for EU data roaming, is part of continued efforts to establish a Digital Single Market in the European Union. The law was passed on 15th June, meaning that 1,151 million EU smartphone users have greater access to data whilst abroad.
